Lauritz is an adult neutered guinea guy. He came to the rescue from a home where he was in danger of dogs, and that home had just kindly taken him in because their neighbors were moving. Sounds like Lauritz needs some permanence! He becomes very cuddly once in your arms, and loves having his nose gently rubbed.
Flocke and Tacita are a bonded pair who came from a farm where they were being kept outside. Flocke is the adorable boy who looks a little like a sheep! (He is a neutered lilac abby). Tacita is the lovely ginger and white abby (she's also spayed). Flocke is cuddly, personable, and dances when presented with veggies! Tacita is a spunky girl with beautiful blue eyes. She'll dodge being picked up but then is good for a cuddle once in your arms.
Perry is a neutered adult guinea guy. He is a pink eyed white with lilac touches to his ears. Perry came to the rescue from the local animal shelter, and is now much happier! He is chowing down on veggies and unlimited hay, as well as occasional fruit! Perry had to have a small cyst removed during his neuter. He's sweet and gentle, and loves to cuddle. What a darling guy!
Estelle and Ranata are two piggies who were rescued from the local animal shelter, where they had been surrendered because their family did not have enough time for them. Their bio puts their birthdate around July of 2007. Poor girls did not get the best care! They were on Carefresh, but their cage was only cleaned every three weeks. They only got lettuce and oranges to eat (and luckily unlimited timothy hay, whew). Estelle is the gorgeous taupe and white sheltie (long haired) pig on the left. She'll need extra grooming and the occasional bath to keep her looking and feeling good! Ranata on the right is a bit shyer. "They have become a little more outgoing in foster care, but are inclined to panic if not handled carefully." Sounds understandable!
Chilton, the guinea pig of Rory Gilmore (back when that show was worth a damn)! He is a lively and active young neutered guinea guy. Chilton was abandoned at a pet store, then taken to an animal shelter, and so arrived in the rescue. Poor Chilton! He is coming out of his shell still, and will need a patient family. "Chilton is a dear little boy, who likes to run around and have fun. As he is still so young, he has some growing to do."
Langley and Miles are an absolutely striking pair of pigs! They are bonded pair of adult neutered pigs who must be adopted together. Langley is on the right and is part abby. He is mostly ginger colored with a little bit of white on his forehead. Miles is on the left and is an abby. They were surrendered to the local shelter because of allergies. They both love to be cuddle, especially Langley, and are sweet and gentle.
Many sad accidents or "accidents" can be avoided this way. *

Raphael is a baby boy who was born at the shelter and has been handled daily by his foster family. He was born on 4/29/2008. He's good with kids, and has short black and red fur.
Avril is a baby girl who was also born at the shelter on the same day as Raphael and has also been handled daily by the foster family. She's good with kids, and also has short black and red fur.
Leonardo is a baby boy who was born at the shelter on the same day and has also been handled daily by the foster family. He's good with kids and has short black and gray fur.
Remy is a baby boy also born at the shelter, same day, being helped by the foster family. He is good with kids and has short black and gray fur.
LISTING REMOVED Arlington, VA: Male guinea pig less than one year of age being rehomed due to move. Mr. Belvedere is "loving and adorable" and "great with kids." Comes with cage, water bottle, food dish, and play things.
Enzo is a a beautiful piggy from a local animal shelter where the poor guy had spent six weeks waiting to be adopted! This gorgeous adult male is both crested and neutered, and is "an unusual lilac and ginger with a little bit of white in color and he has ruby eyes." Enzo has become less shy in foster care, and is big cuddly boy waiting for a forever home to love on him!
Leonard is an agouti brown and white adult neutered guinea male with dark eyes. He came to the rescue from a local shelter, where he had been surrendered because his family no longer wished to take care of him anymore. The teenager who had brought him home lost interest in Leonard after insisting on keeping in him, and so he got the boot. Help Leonard learn the meaning of forever!
Eddie and Jane are a bonded adult pair of a girl and neutered girl pigs. Eddie is the teddy on the left. Jane is the teddy on the right and has ruby eyes. They came to the rescue from a family who was moving. They are friendly pigs who are well socialized and love lap time. They're vocal at veggie time, love their hay, and settle down nicely once they're finally in your lap.
Nicholai is an adorable adult male neutered guinea pig who wins one of my FAVORITE PIG awards. He was surrendered to a local animal shelter because his owner didn't want to care for him anymore, and then came to the rescue. Once in the rescue he was treated for a UTI and a URI. Nicholai has a "slightly deformed nasal septum" and so makes a slight snoring sound! He is a slight special needs pig, in that he needs a family willing to monitor his condition and take him in to a Cavy Savvy Vet for regular physical checkups. He is very personable and sweet, and greets people at the side of the cage!

Honey and LISTING REMOVED
Honey is a six month old female with a smooth tan and white coat. She loves carrots (great as a sparing treat) and lettuce. She has experience with kids and was given up because those kids no longer cared for her :(
Snickers is a one year old male with a short black and brown coat. He has experience with dogs and kids, and was given up because of allergies.
Dunkin is one of my FAVORITE PIGs! He is a one year old crested guinea pig with medium length hair. He is a bit shy in the shelter and could really benefit from a patient and loving caretaker.
Donut is a two year old agouti guinea boy. He's funny, wiggly, silly and curious! But he settles down soon. He'll make a forever home very happy!
