MD-Humane Society of Dorchester County-Sow

Humane Society of Dorchester County, Cambridge, MD: Cutie! To quote in full from her bio, "sooooooooooo cute, loves to be held."

MD-Luna's House-Four Guinea Pigs

Luna's House, Abington, MD:

ADOPTED! Tommy is a sweet boy with a cute face. He is seven to eight months old, who loves attention and the young, old, piggy, human alike. Tommy came from a local animal shelter where he was surrendered because the kids from his previous family lost interest in him. Show Tommy the meaning of a forever home!

ADOPTED! Debbie is one of those very special guinea pigs who you fall in love with in one glance. She is sweet and shy, which makes you love her even more. Debbie was oddly surrendered to a ferret rescue, then made her way to the more appropriate Luna's House. She is six to seven months old, and loves floor time, her toys, and hay and grass!

ADOPTED! Audie is a poor boy who has had a hard time of it so far. He arrived recently at the rescue with an injured eye, "a busted spirit," but "a thriving appetite for greens!"Audi is largely black and white, with a caramel patch next to his healing injured eye. He is eight months old and very friendly, growing more and more so each day! Adopting him would surely be a rewarding act for both parties involved.

ADOPTED! Gwen is a piggy who is both beautiful inside and out. She is nine months old, has blue eyes, red and white fur, and big blue eyes. What a beauty! She's also quite vocal, especially if she's smells any veggies. Her present happiness must be a joy to the rescue--she came to them from a shelter when she was missing fur, infested with mites, and underweight. Now she is a happy darling and constant entertainment to the good people of Luna's House.

VA-Fairfax County Animal Services-Boar

Fairfax County Animal Services, VA: Adorable boy without name or age, LISTING REMOVED. ID #A026764. ETA: named Phil!

VA-Prince William County Animal Shelter

Prince William County Animal Shelter, VA: has a worrisome ADOPTED! Petfinder listing for a number of guinea pigs. Not much information, but obviously the guinea pigs are adorable! I wish I knew what that bedding was, I can't tell. It's probably not cat litter, but just using this opportunity to say that cat litter is never an appropriate bedding for rodents, including guinea pigs.

MD-Small Angels-Adult Boar

Small Angels Rescue-Northern Maryland: ADOPTED! Aaron!

Aaron is a piggie who arrived to the this great rescue from the local animal shelter. He is an adorable boy who is now in need for a lovely lady piggie friend. He's a bit shy and so requires some gentle handling, but is quite active and lively. He loves his hay, veggies, and fruits, and now is just looking for a lady to share them with!

VA-Fairfax County Animal Control-Three Pigs

Fairfax County Animal Control, VA: Three wonderful pigs available for adoption! They are so fuzzy, you can tell even from their tiny ID photos.

Pig ID: LISTING REMOVED. A026881 is three months old, an unaltered male who appears to be living with the below pig

Pig ID: LISTING REMOVED. A026882 is also three months old and an unaltered male.

Pig ID:
LISTING REMOVED. A026883 is a three month old beautiful brown and white sow and I want to hold her in my arms for nine days straights!

MD-Humane Society of Carroll County-Boar

Humane Society of Carroll County, MD: LISTING REMOVED. Buster is a wonderfully handsome one year old guinea pig boar who loves to be held and pet. His bio says that he doesn't really need much attention. Guinea pig lovers everywhere are having one of these Native American looking at the trash, one tear rolling down their cheek moments. The attitude that guinea pigs are low energy pets is one that perpetuates their neglect and high presence in the shelters. Guinea piggies are both work and worth it! After all, look at this face!
