MD-Humane Society of Carroll County-two seven week old sisters

Humane Society of Carroll County, MD: LISTING REMOVED Monster, LISTING REMOVED Oreo and LISTING REMOVED Buster!

Monster and Oreo are two sweet seven week old females from the same litter. Monster is so beautiful-how'd she get that name? She is very vocal. NEVER feed yogurt treats. Guinea pigs can not have lactose.
Monster is on the left, Oreo is on the right.

Buster is a gorgeous five month old male guinea pig who was surrendered to the shelter because his child-owner lost interest in him. He needs to learn the meaning of forever!

LISTING REMOVED Herndon, VA: Two guinea pigs being rehomed due to not enough time (Boy or Girl? PREGNANCY WATCH).

Charlottesville, VA: Roommate bailed leaving her pig behind, and so he's being dumped on CL along with his tank (NEVER use these, equivalent to sensory deprivation) and exercise ball (NEVER use these, they can cause fatal injuries). Stanley is at least a year and a half old, and is very energetic and quite cute. "Experienced guinea pig owners preferred...preferable no homes with small children."

ADOPTED! Great Falls, VA: 1.5 y.o. male bonded guinea pigs available for adoption, as son is leaving for boarding school. Come with cage, timothy hay, pellets, and carefresh. Pigs are bonded, "no fights."

LISTING REMOVED Maryland: Two friendly male guinea pigs being rehomed due to allergies. One is black with a little bit of white, the other is white with black. "They are great pets."

LISTING REMOVED Crofton, MD: Sister guinea girls, under a year old being rehomed due to allergies. Come with cage, water bottle, and other accessories.

LISTING REMOVED Carroll (Western MD), MD: Two skinnies being rehomed with the claim they're hypoallergenic. GUINEA PIG LESSON: Rachel Ray and others are *wrong* about this. Even if skinny pigs and Baldwins were hypoallergenic, all of their accessories, such as their bedding and hay, make allergies flare just as much as the haired pigs. These pigs are 3-4 months old, pictures available by request.

MD-Small Angels Rescue-New Pigs!

Small Angels Rescue; Foster homes throughout Northern MD: Rhys and Tayo, ADOPTED! Lizette and Zara, and Avalon and Raleigh !

Rhys and Tayo are a pair of adorable neutered adult male guinea pigs. Rhys is the abby on the left, and Tayo is the incredibly striking guinea on the right (he even has ruby eyes!). They came from the local animal shelter where they were surrendered because of allergies in their owners. They only got ten days in their last home before being given to the shelter! Poor boys, they've just been bounced around. They are settling down and loving being spoiled in their foster home.

Lizette and Zara are bonded adult adorable girls who were surrendered to the rescue because of allergies. They have medium length hair. Lizette is the girly on the left, and Zara is on the right. They both are very sweet, and really looking forward to a forever home. Read more about them at the link!
Avalon and Raleigh are 1 y.o. neutered male guinea pigs. Raleigh is on the left, and Avalon is on the right. They are quite bonded! They came to the rescue from the local animal shelter. They are fun, active and playful guinea boys who love to race around their cage. Being picked up isn't their favorite thing in the world, but once they're in the lap they'll settle down for a bit. They are looking for a gentle and loving forever home!

Lake Ridge/Woodbridge, VA: Bagel and Peanut are bonded five week old brothers. Bagel will even cry for Peanut if they're apart. They're friendly and active, but still skittish (typical of their age). They are being handled regularly by their temporary owners though. (The came from an already pregnant mom the owners took in).

Poppy is 3-5 months old, very curious of people and pigs, but will still get scared when he's being picked up. He likes lap time once he's actually in the lap though. He really loves floor time and snack time the most. He's been packing on the weight in his temporary home and is really enjoying the fine dining. He's the older brother to Bagel and Peanut.

Fiyero is father of the three boys, but is still "a fairly young adult" and "is probably one of the sweetest pig I have ever met." He is a sociable flirt, loves to be pet, held, and loves to cuddle! He does have impaction issues (not the teeth kind), and should go to a home with prior guinea pig experience.

All the boys live together fine now, and should be adopted together in pairs, or to a home where they'll have a friend. That pig (a male or spayed female) must be brought to the owner's house to make sure they get along. Adopters should own a C&C cage.

These pigs have a sad history and were rescued from a horrible cage by the poster. They were listed as "hamsters" on CL in a tiny filthy cage with no hay. Thankfully, that's in their past.
