Lauritz is an adult neutered guinea guy. He came to the rescue from a home where he was in danger of dogs, and that home had just kindly taken him in because their neighbors were moving. Sounds like Lauritz needs some permanence! He becomes very cuddly once in your arms, and loves having his nose gently rubbed.
Flocke and Tacita are a bonded pair who came from a farm where they were being kept outside. Flocke is the adorable boy who looks a little like a sheep! (He is a neutered lilac abby). Tacita is the lovely ginger and white abby (she's also spayed). Flocke is cuddly, personable, and dances when presented with veggies! Tacita is a spunky girl with beautiful blue eyes. She'll dodge being picked up but then is good for a cuddle once in your arms.
Perry is a neutered adult guinea guy. He is a pink eyed white with lilac touches to his ears. Perry came to the rescue from the local animal shelter, and is now much happier! He is chowing down on veggies and unlimited hay, as well as occasional fruit! Perry had to have a small cyst removed during his neuter. He's sweet and gentle, and loves to cuddle. What a darling guy!
Estelle and Ranata are two piggies who were rescued from the local animal shelter, where they had been surrendered because their family did not have enough time for them. Their bio puts their birthdate around July of 2007. Poor girls did not get the best care! They were on Carefresh, but their cage was only cleaned every three weeks. They only got lettuce and oranges to eat (and luckily unlimited timothy hay, whew). Estelle is the gorgeous taupe and white sheltie (long haired) pig on the left. She'll need extra grooming and the occasional bath to keep her looking and feeling good! Ranata on the right is a bit shyer. "They have become a little more outgoing in foster care, but are inclined to panic if not handled carefully." Sounds understandable!
Chilton, the guinea pig of Rory Gilmore (back when that show was worth a damn)! He is a lively and active young neutered guinea guy. Chilton was abandoned at a pet store, then taken to an animal shelter, and so arrived in the rescue. Poor Chilton! He is coming out of his shell still, and will need a patient family. "Chilton is a dear little boy, who likes to run around and have fun. As he is still so young, he has some growing to do."
Langley and Miles are an absolutely striking pair of pigs! They are bonded pair of adult neutered pigs who must be adopted together. Langley is on the right and is part abby. He is mostly ginger colored with a little bit of white on his forehead. Miles is on the left and is an abby. They were surrendered to the local shelter because of allergies. They both love to be cuddle, especially Langley, and are sweet and gentle.Many sad accidents or "accidents" can be avoided this way. *
