POST DELETED. Springfield, VA; bonded sows being rehomed for small, very reasonable adoption fee. They are very friendly guineas, one a short-haired sow with white and brown fur, the other is a long haired gray guinea (peruvian?). They come with their cage, two bowls, a pigloo, water bottles, a bag of litter, bag of alfalfa (only feed if they're under a year old), and their food. Pictures available upon request.
The poster recommends them as an early x-mas present. I disagree with this, because the person receiving is not consenting to care for the guinea pigs. You also might wind up in the same position as the poster, who gave these guineas as a present to her son's girlfriend. Once they broke up and the girlfriend moved, mom got the guinea pigs back and is now posting them on Craigslist. I would think this would be a lesson against giving animals as presents, but what do I know.
