MD/DC/VA-MGPR Guineas

Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue is an amazing rescue network of foster homes. My boyfriend and I make up one of them! Right now we have a nine month old abby and her month old daughter. They aren't available yet because they have to be spayed. MGPR spays and neuters all their guinea pigs, which is great. It stops the guinea pigs from contributing to the over population problem, and there are important longterm health benefits. If you're interested in fostering for them check out the link-they are always looking for good homes.

Here are the guinea pigs that are presently available. More guinea pigs are going up soon.

ADOPTED! Darling Possum has been in the rescue for way too long! He's a five month old super active, friendly boy. He loves floor time and other piggies, so he has to go to a Forever Home with other piggie pals.

ADOPTED! I've met Lambert and he is so cute, and so tiny. He's a three month old and was also born in one of the foster homes. Poor guy, his brother was already adopted. He would do well paired with a sow.

ADOPTED! Henry is three months old and was born in one of the foster homes. He was a big baby and is going to get bigger! He's looking for a lady friend.

ADOPTED! Huey is a cutie. He is seven months old. Like Henry, he's also looking for a lady friend. And, of course, the Forever Home that is lucky enough to get this dear boy.
